Three employee benefit plan assurance professionals presented at the National Council of Philippine American Canadian Accountants (NCPACA) National Convention July 5-6 in the Woodlands, Texas. The convention is a joint effort between NCPACA and the Filipino American Accountants of Texas (FAATX).
Director and immediate past president of FAATX, Michelle Brumfield, CPA, and managers, Sharjeel Ahsan, CPA, and Gosia Kanda, CIA, presented on both days of the convention on a variety of employee benefit plan assurance related topics including the accounting and auditing update, cybersecurity, and employee benefit plans in a changing regulatory environment. Having performed a multitude of employee benefit plan related services for public and private entities, Brumfield, Ahsan, and Kanda provide a wealth of specialized industry knowledge to NCPACA convention attendees.
“I’m proud of our team for being asked to present at the upcoming NCPACA conference,” said Employee Benefit Plan Assurance Partner, Eric Ernest, CPA. “Our team members are actively involved in both of these organizations, and it is important to share our knowledge with other accountants attending the convention.”
